Senior Management Accountant

As Senior Management Accountant, you will play a key role in the finance team, taking ownership of the monthly accounts and driving process improvements across the department. You will work closely with the Financial Controller and support a Management Accountant in their development, making this a great step for someone who enjoys both technical rigour and people leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Delivering monthly management accounts including P&L and balance sheet commentary and variance analysis
• Leading on process improvements and embedding best practice across the team
• Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and supporting the audit process
• Identifying and implementing new controls and efficiencies
• Building strong relationships with stakeholders and driving positive change across the business
• Supporting and developing the Management Accountant within the team

You will need to be:

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with solid management accounts experience
• Detail-oriented with a passion for precision and problem-solving
• Confident in analysing complex financial data and communicating findings clearly
• A natural collaborator with strong relationship-building skills
• Retail experience is a bonus but absolutely not essential
