My client, a hospitality venue based in North London, is on the hunt for a marketing person to come in and own their marketing world. This is a part time role, around 20 hours a week, with flexibility on how and when those hours are worked. They're looking for someone who can take real ownership of their marketing, from running socials and keeping on top of SEO through to managing the relationship with their brand agency, and who's excited by the idea of shaping the direction rather than just keeping things ticking over.

  • Running our social media across the channels that matter (think Instagram, TikTok, the lot) and actually making it feel like us, not corporate and definitely not boring
  • Keeping an eye on our SEO and making sure people can actually find us when they search
  • Liaising with our brand agency to keep campaigns, design and messaging all singing from the same hymn sheet
  • Coming up with ideas, campaigns and content that get people talking (and booking a table)
  • Helping us tell our story, whether that's a new menu launch, an event, or just what makes us, us

Requirements

  • Someone with solid marketing experience, ideally with a bit of hospitality, food, drink or lifestyle background (but not essential)
  • Confident running social media and comfortable with the basics of SEO
  • Used to working with agencies and able to manage that relationship without needing hand holding
  • Creative, proactive and full of ideas, but also happy to get stuck into the day to day
  • Someone who wants flexibility and trusts us to trust them to get the job done

Job role:

  • 20 hours per week, approx over 3 days
  • Genuinely flexible, work from home, work from our space, mix it up
  • Based in North London (occasional visits to site are handy)
  • Competitive part time salary, depending on experience

They are a small, friendly team who care about doing things properly without taking ourselves too seriously. If you want a role where your ideas actually go somewhere, you can fit work around life, and you fancy being part of something with a bit of personality, we'd love to hear from you.
