Mother of all Jobs is working with a well-established and growing Educational organisation in North Yorkshire, with multiple sites dedicated to making a real difference in their community. They have a clear ambition to be the best in their sector across the North of England, and they need the right person to help get them there.

They are seeking a Head of HR to join their Executive Leadership Team. This is a pivotal, strategic role, one that will shape the culture, capability and wellbeing of the entire workforce, ensuring every colleague can contribute to outstanding outcomes for the people they serve.

You will provide visionary leadership across all people functions. You will drive the development and delivery of the People Strategy, ensuring policies, systems and practices reflect the organisation's values and support a high-quality, inclusive and resilient workforce. You will lead the HR team, oversee all operational HR activity, and act as a trusted adviser to senior leaders and the Executive Leadership Team.

Your remit will span the full breadth of HR leadership including:

  • Employee relations and complex casework
  • Organisational development and workforce planning
  • Pay, reward and recognition
  • Equality, diversity and inclusion
  • Wellbeing and culture
  • Change management
  • HR systems, data and compliance with employment legislation

The successful candidate will be a highly credible HR professional with substantial experience operating in a complex, multi-site environment. You will bring a strong command of employment law, a proven track record of delivering strategic HR improvements, and the gravitas to lead and influence at the highest level. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to inspire and motivate those around you.

  • 22.5 hours per week — flexible and term-time plus arrangements will be considered
